What up? My name is Kash Kuumba. Kash means Knowledge, Attitude, Skill, and Habit. Kuumba means Creativity. Im a Philly based MC. Been in the Philly music scene since 2004. Not just as a rapper but behind the scenes. Doing two music based internships in Philly with people who been in the industry more a while. conference calls with label execs, street marketing and promotions team (concerts, clubs, local neighborhoods, and events), Marketing for the major labels(Sony, Def Jam, Atlantic, Universal, Koch, Jive, Interscpoe, Etc) and major and independent artists(Jay-Z, Chris Brown, Nas, T.I., Game, Neyo, Beyonce, Lil Wanye, Ray J, and Keyshia Cole to name a few), was a A&R on a compilation album of Philly artist, I was a intern involved with Beanie Sigel’s last album, I Help put together Music Exces Speak monthly industry panel with indutry leaders, meeting label execs at Def Jam & Sony and more. Run a Music mentoring program called "Studio to the Stage" for high school students who want to learn about the music industry. Right now working with Jr Music Exces on spring and summer concert tour called "The R3 Tour" and mix cd for tour fearuting high school artist from around the city. . But im on here to promote my music("LIKE A S.T.A.R" coming soon), network with people who have the same interest as me and people that don’t, and to meet new people. “Im a real dude ask about me”.
