SoulGen Playlist Contest #3 "YES WE DID...The INSPIRATIONAL Edition"

LET THE BATTLE BEGIN CONTINUE...AGAIN

Alright Y'all. IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN!!! Get your DJ skills up and let's create some new playlists! We know how competitive these contests can get, and we feel that the competition needs to be revived!

Since our friend Barack Obama has been such a true inspiration for us all in the recent months and even years, we decided to host a Playlist Contest in honor of the man who changed the world. Although we hold everyone to a higher standard, you don't have to become President. Your job is simply to create an AWESOME PLAYLIST full of GREAT, INSPIRATIONAL music.

HERE ARE THE SPECIFIC RULES:

Create a Playlist full of beautiful, wonderful, inspirational, celebrational, eclectical, Barack Obamical music. If yours is the best, you'll win an all new EXCLUSIVE "All Things Are Possible" T-Shirt (there are only 30 currently in existence).

(O.K. now here's the not-so fine print)

-Add at least 8 incredible songs to your playlist on your SoulGen profile page.

-Your playlist must contain music that highlights and recognizes and displays the power, inspiration, love, promise, strength, resolve and hope that Barack Obama and all of his supporters have shown in the recent past.

-TO ENTER THE CONTEST, YOU MUST DECLARE YOUR ELIGIBILITY BY RESPONDING BELOW. If you wish, let us know why your playlist is the dopest.

-You will be judged by a very special select group of SoulGenCommunity members on your top 10 songs (and only your top 8, although you can add as many as you wish)

-Things to consider when creating your playlist: Great Songs! Musical diversity, creativity, replay value, nostalgic value, relevance to SoulGen's musical standards: high quality, non-destructive, life-affirming, great beats, great lyrics, etc, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, RELEVANCE TO BARACK OBAMA AND ALL THAT HE STANDS FOR.

-Entry period ends at 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, January 31st, 2009

*IMPORTANT: Don't forget to UN-CHECK the box that says "Enable download link." You are sharing the song for others to hear, not to download! We would LOVE to leave the FCC out of this discussion!

PLEASE COMMENT ON OTHER PEOPLE'S PLAYLIST HERE ON THE MESSAGE BOARD AND/OR DIRECTLY ON THEIR PAGE!

LET'S GET IT ON !!!

REPLY BELOW TO ENTER!
(let us know when your playlist is ready!)

(This contest is open to all members of the SoulGen Community. Entry period ends at 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, January 31st, 2009)

Maxwell: BLACKsummers’ Night

The best way to listen to Maxwell’s new “BLACKsummers’ Night” is with the volume turned all the way up. “I Want Michelle Obama Arms!”

She’s Pumped. Your Turn. By LIZ ROBBINS THE arms have taken on a life of their own. They have provoked controversy, envy, a bit of backlash, even bad puns about the right to bare them.
